FLOWERS, MR. TOM Husband of Laurie Muskegon Mr. Tom Flowers, age 51, died Sunday afternoon June 3, 2001. He was born on November 6, 1949 in Muskegon to Robert & Frances (Eaves) Flowers and had resided in the Muskegon area for all of his life. Mr. Flowers worked for Sappi Fine Paper for 31 years and had also been a member of the Vikings Lodge. On July 27, 1968 he married the former Laurie Muriset in Muskegon and she survives him along with 2 children, Amy (Keith) Mast, Tom (Alisa) Flowers both of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Garrison, Austin, Jax; mother, Frances Flowers of Muskegon; 2 brothers, Bob (Sue) Flowers of Arizona, Dick (Suzie) Flowers of Muskegon; 3 sisters, Char Edsall of Muskegon, Betty (Bob) LaVere of Portland, OR, Carol (Bill) Young of Grand Rapids; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Jim Flowers. SERVICES will be 3:30 PM Thursday at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes 1547 W.
