Novi High School
Classes of 1969 - 1979

WOW!!!   What a great reunion!!
For those of you who came, you know how great it all was.  For those of you who were unable to join us, you missed a blast!
Friday night started at Freedom Hill with great food and lots of cold refreshments and wine, all brought to us by Tom Celani and our good friends at Andiamo's Restaurant.  There were lots of hugs, much laughter and many stories shared by all as classmates arrived to a fun-filled evening.  After a couple of hours of visiting, we moved to the seating area and enjoyed a rockin' good concert with Dave Mason opening up for Mike Love and the fabulous Beach Boys!  The rain threatened, but cleared away and it was a perfect evening for a summer open-air concert.
Saturday night found us at Andiamo's in Novi (of course, Novi!).  The evening started with a first-class wine tasting event in the upstairs lounge.  Those who were lucky enough to get reservations to the wine tasting before it sold out were not disappointed.  Many bottles of fine wines were had by all, and platters of premium cheeses and fresh fruit we laid out to enjoy.  All the wines were from the Celani Family Vineyards.
As the rest of the classmates arrived at the reunion, the laughter and fun continued.  Many memories and life stories were shared, along with dreams and plans for the future.  Though we all look quite different than we did way back in high school, our eyes only saw each other as we remembered from back then.  It was as if those 35-45 years had not even passed.
Thoughout the evening, many email address and phone numbers exchanged hands, and promises were made to keep in touch this time.  Old friendships were renewed, some old flames rekindled, and everyone left feeling good and still reminiscing about life at old Novi High.
But it doesn 't stop there!!!  We are asking anyone who took pictures to post them on their website profiles, as well as on our Facebook page.  We want to share the weekend with those who could not attend.  Be sure to add names of those in the photos if you can in case we don't look quite the same as we did and won't be recognized.  Share your stories from the weekend (be careful), and tell everyone what a great time it was.
Many thanks to our those that helped us out with the reunion:  Mike and Marci Mulligan and Sherie Robbins for attendance and Andy McComas for presenting the award to Tom Celani.  Thanks to Darlene Evans for helping with the picnic plans for Sunday.  And for their dedication and drive to make the reunion what it was, many thanks to Judy Piercey Brown, Mike Nunnery and Patty Pohlman Mayer.
Just to let you know, we plan to keep the website active over the next five years until the next reunion and we encourage you to keep updating your information and use the website as a way to stay in touch with your classmates.  Help us to keep connected until we see each other again.

If you have not already, please go ahead and create your Classmate Profile on this website so that we can keep in touch with you with information and updates in the future.  Remember, just because you create a profile, it does not mean everyone can see your information.  You can pick and choose which parts of your information you want to make accessible and to whom.  You can also flag individual classmates on your profile page, so that when they make updates or register, you will be notified.  This is a great way to keep up on an old friend that you have not heard from in a long time.

And most importantly, our list of Missing Classmates is HUGE!  If you know the whereabouts of anyone on the missing list, please submit their information to us through the Contact Us feature on the website.  If anyone is savvy on searches and would like to help us track down Missing Classmates, we would be glad for the assistance.
