Evelyn Weeks Inga

I graduated from Parma High School and then went to Lady Catherine Beauty School. I married Donald Durrant in 1968. We moved to South Dakota in 1970 and moved back to Parma in 1971. In 1977 we moved to Nampa. Don and I were divorced in 1992. After I divorced Don I moved to Boise. I married Gary Inga in Dec. 1995. We moved to Meridian in Jan. 1996 into our new home we had built, and that is where we are still living.
Gary and I were both working for Micron. I worked in assembly production for 20 years. When Micron started laying people off in July 2007, I took a voluntary layoff because I was getting really tired of my job and was so ready just to be a full time wife and grandma. Little did I know that Gary would get laid off just 1 year later. Gary was a Manufacturing Support Engineer. His job was out sourced to India. Since being laid off I have gone to school at Rocky Mountain Business Academy where I took there Medical Business Associate program. It is training to work in a medical office doing billing, scheduling appointments and general office work. The trade act paid for school because our jobs were sent to other countries. The long and short of it Micron put us into retirement a little sooner than we planned on. Right now we have just been babysitting grandchildren whenever needed, which lately has been almost every day and sometimes for two or three families on the same day. We also keep busy with yard work, and taking care of our Poodles.
