This will be my last year of teaching. I've been at it for 23 years, and enough is enough. My house is now going through the process of being sold, and I will be moving to Texas (San Antonio area) on 14 June.
I spent several years working for the federal government, got married, had kids, divorced, went back to college for a teaching degree, and spend about 11 hours a day on education. Love those summers!!

I think my funniest memory is of the time we were in biology class. Mr. Mendazona (spelling?) had us doing a lab with small chicks. Suddenly, they got loose and were tearing around the room, stepping in the dye, and generally making a big mess. Mr. M. was quite upset (he had been talking with Mr. Calhoun instead of paying attention to what was going on). I remember it as being hilarous! Does anyone else remember this incident.
