When Karla and I lived in Hooper, Cloy and I saw each other frequently during the 70s and 80s. He was the manager of the LDS Chicken Farm in Kanesville for many years. Each time I saw him, I'd ask him how things were at the "Chicken Ranch" (a house of ill-repute located near Las Vegas with that name.) Cloy would just laugh, and say things were still pretty exciting! He was a big guy with a big laugh.

Since our last names Child and Chamberlain were close in spelling Cloy and I often sat next to each other in class at Wahlquist and WHS. I always liked Cloy. He was a great guy. Since moving to Roy over 3 years ago I had the opportunity to see Cloy several times at the Roy City Council Meetings prior to his passing. I serve on a public safety committee for the Roy Police and Fire Departments with Chief Greg Whinham and Chief Jon Ritchie. My deepest sympathies and condolences to Cloys family in his passing.
