Evelyn Davis Gibby

I attended Utah State University and worked at Hill Air Force Base along with several other part-time jobs while rearing our five children. I have spent most of my time being a Mom and doing church and community service. I most recently served a mission with my husband in the Madrid Spain Temple Mission. I am currently serving as an ordinance worker in the Bountiful Utah Temple where I served for 10 years before entering the mission field. I love to travel and have visited many countries throughout the world.

I am an avid football fan all due to Miss Cragun teaching us about football when I was in the Pep Club. She wanted us to know the game so we could cheer at the appropriate times. I have loved football ever since. One year we beat Ogden High School and received the "Little Brown Jug" which you will recall was a sought-after treasure. We all met in the gym to be awarded the "Jug". Heber Fuller came running into the gym with the jug, tripped (on purpose) and threw the jug into the brick wall. It broke into several pieces. My heart stopped!!! I could not even breathe. But alas!!! It was a trick. He had a duplicate jug and the real McCoy soon appeared on the scene. Where is the "Little Brown Jug" now?
