Mack died on January 29th 2015, in Salt Lake City.  He was a sociology professor at Weasminster University and Columbia College. He was married to another classmate, Janice Rudd. They have one son, Brett. his wife and son both live in Salt Lake.  After he retired from teaching he was the Director  of The Mental Health Association of Utah. He ran many group therapy sessions for men and women along the Wasatch front.  He also wrote and published poetry and non-fiction.  Mack was an intelligent caring man, he spent his entire life trying to make this a better society for women and all minorities.  He created a new word, fairmenist, which paid homage to fairness in all of its many forms.  He was preceded in death by his parents ans a brother, Jack, he is also survived by a sister.
