Ed Grambow died in his sleep on the 8th of March 2007 of heart failure in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife Kate.

Eddie endured serious health problems from the age of 14 including numerous surgeries from bone infections which resulted in major surgery while a senior at Weber

In spite of his many illnesses Eddie always had an indomitably good spirit and endured it all with a good attitude. He was a machinist for many years in Los Angeles and New Mexico.
