Harvey Higley passed away in 2013. He was my childhood best friend. During high school, he participated in track and the WHS Band. He carried his huge baritone to and from school almost every day and became an accomplished musician.
He attended Weber State University and Utah State University and served an LDS mission in Great Britain. He grew up in Farr West and ran the family operation known as Higley Farms located on Higley Road. He married Joan Griffin of West Weber and they raised a beautiful family.
Harvey served as an LDS Bishop. He blessed the lives of many people. He was known for his humor, his kindness, and his generosity. And the only thing he really needed to make him happy was a root beer popsicle.
Robert, thanks for sharing those beautiful memories and Harvey Higley"s accomplishments. We should all be blessed to have had a friend like him. Best to you, Brent Little
