I found an old note on Classmates from Vesta before she died. How I wish I'd have had a "gold" account then so I could have read it and reconnected with her. She was really a charactor and full of fun.

Vesta and I were more like sisters growing up – although I think our folks would call it trouble. Somehow we would rather do dishes at each other’s house than our own. Course we had to walk each other home, and then half way back again before dashing to our own house. Summers were heaven. We’d play ball, kick the can, catch polliwogs when holes were dug for new homes. We’d go to the park for summer recreation, acrobatics, softball, etc. We would catch the bus to the WOW on Grant or the old Berthana for acrobatic lessons from Lynn Pitcher. One summer we figured how to get double ice cream from Judy’s on Harrison: first she’d ask her mom, later I would ask my dad. Course we only got away with it a couple of times, on Sundays, no less.
Come Weber High we each followed our separate interests more and did less together.
Last time I saw her was at her mom’s funeral. I was shocked when I came across her death
while researching other classmates. How could she with out letting me know?

Vesta, to me, was one of those people that had their motor runing all the time! She was so full of life. I saw her often at Weber, since she was in the Warriorettes at the same time as my girlfriend at the time. She always had a big "HI!" everytime I saw her. I wished I had known she lived in Hollister CA. I used to do business there at least once a month. It would have been good to see her.
