After graduation from High School I joined the Utah National Guard and was sent to Fort Ord California for basic training. When I returned from basic training I attended Weber State College; majoring in the automotive Field. I went to school full time for two and a half years. After that I got a job at Fisher and Hess Pontiac, where I worked as an automatic transmission specialist, I worked there for about a year. I then moved to Jim Whetton Buick, where I did all type of automotive repair. I worked there for about two years. I had the opportunity to go to work for the Defense Logistic Agency Defense Depot in Ogden Utah. I worked for (DDOU) until I retired in 1996 after 31 years of service. I also joined the Clinton City Fire Department in September 1976 as a volunteer fire fighter; I have worked my way up through the ranks. I am Fire Marshal for Clinton City Fire Department and have held this position for 20 years. I have attended many different types of fire school to many to mention here. While attending Weber State College I met a girl from Garland, Utah. In February 1965
I married Adele Forsgren in the Logan Temple. We have four children two boys, two girls. We have sixteen grandchildren and four Great grandchildren all of my families live in the Weber/ Davis County area, which makes it nice. We see them about once a mouth; the grandchildren are a lot of fun. We just bought a new home in Clinton about ten years a go. I have served in many position with the LDS church with the most challenging being Ward Clerk. Life has been good to my family and me. I still have my health and feel good most of the time but I do have bad sinus trouble from time to time. Hope you are all doing well and having a great 50-year reunion.
