I met Jim Scott at Stimson's market in June 1956
We got Married in Dec. 1956. We lived in Washington Terrace for nine years, they were very fun years. We had 5 daughters. In 1969 I went to Beauty school. After which I opened a Beauty Shop in my home. I did hair for 38 years. I
enjoyed my customers .In 1971 we moved to West Haven, (then Kanesville, open country).
We had 3 Acres of land. We had horses,cows,
chickens,rabbits,ducks,dogs, cats,and a goat
over the years. We sold the rabbits, chickens, and
eggs. Those were good and fun years. We had
a 5th Wheel and boat and went on many trips.
We enjoyed fishing camping and seeing different
parts of the country. Jim was away on his job alot
for a few years, I had alot of fun with our girls.
We also had a big garden I especially loved watching the veggies grow. BY 1985 our girls were married. JIM retired in 1997,we relaxed and went fishing more. JIM got cancer in DEC 2002 I retired to help him, he passed away NOV.2003.WE Have 12 Grandchildren and 14 Greatgrand, 2 more on the way. I'VE enjoyed my grandkids alot over the years, especially after JIM passed away.
JIM and I had 47 years Together. WOW..
In Oct. 2007 I married a good friend Jerry Johnson,
and I moved to Pleasant View in his home. We go to Las Vegas from Nov. to March.
I now go by Barbara Scott Johnson
I've had good health except good old Arthritis,
Had a happy life, lots of friends, a family, and
2 good guys, can't ask for much more.
