First Time Here?

If you are new to the website, this is the right place to start. This page will explain how to sign up, make a profile and start reconnecting with your classmates. It will also answer a lot of your question, such as:

How much does it cost to join?
Absolutely nothing. This website is maintained by Scott McCarthy (sdmccarthy@ptci.com if questions)on behalf of the class. It is completly free for our classmates. You will never be asked to pay to make a profile, access other alumni profiles, read e-mails or any of that. Just join the site and enjoy the features.

What do I do next?
The first thing you should do here is setup an account and update your profile. Let us know what you've been up to, and your latest contact info. This will help us communicate the latest updates about the upcoming 20th reunion and future stuff.

If you are still in contact with anyone from the class, invite them to sign up too. You can notify them by going to their profile and entering their e-mail address. The site will send the invitation for you. Or just tell them to come to www.okarche1989.com

What about my Privacy?
You have the option of password protecting your personal profile which blocks the general public and search engines from accessing your profile details. Once you create a profile, you will also be able to see the profiles of your fellow classmates and interact with them.

All contact information that you enter into this website will be kept confidential. It will not be shared, distributed or sold. Your information is private, your address and phone number can't be seen by the classmates unless you grant permission on your profile.

When someone clicks on your name, all they will see of your contact information is your city and state and whatever personal information you choose to put in your profile. However, if you send a message to someone through their profile, they will see your email address so they can respond.

How do I Get a Profile?
You will need to make your individual profile in order to access any password protected pages on the site. Start by clicking on the Classmate Profiles link. This will take you to a page with all your classmate names, including yours. Find your name and click on it. Follow the prompts to create you profile. The password that you enter during this process will used as your login password. You can personalize your page with information such as what have you been up to since graduation, school memories, your family, and photos. You can even plug in a YouTube video if you want.

If you can not find your name on the Classmate Profiles page, use the "Contact Us" form to request to have your name added.

If you change your email address, snail mail address, or phone number, please update those in your profile so when we download a hard copy we will have your correct information.

I've got a profile built. What Do I do now?
Here are the main features:

  • Check the Home page regularly. That's where the main information and announcements are made.
  • Browse your classmates' profiles. Some of them have a ton of old and new photos.
  • Check out the "Missing Classmates." Do you know where any of them are now? If you do, invite them to the site!
  • Chat about the upcoming reunion plans in the Message Forum.
  • Try the "show classmates on map" link under Where They Live to get a quick visual of where your classmates live in the US.
Enjoy and have fun with the website!!
