Brad James

 

Brad James, class of 1978 passed away June 26, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is
survived by his two children, Tyler James and Mandy James. He spent many years
raising them as a single father. He is also survived by his siblings, Deborah James
Troop, Steven James, and Sandra James-Benintende. He is also survived by numerous
nephews and nieces who adored him and one great nephew and two great nieces. He
was predeceased by his mother, Verna James and his father, Bob J. James.

Western Heights meant so much to Brad. He was MVP in baseball and basketball and
homecoming King. He received several baseball scholarships. He met his lifetime best
friends at Western Heights and during College and remained in contact with them
through the years. He was passionate about his kids ?rst, sports, playing softball, and
helping others.

He spent some time with Fina oil, as well as working as a pharmaceutical
Representative. He ?nally decided to follow his passion and his love of sports and
moved to to Las Vegas, Nevada. He spent several years running his own business
making it easier to concentrate on raising his children. He fell in love with Las Vegas
and even had his own sports radio show at one time. He also spent lots of his time
watching his son Tyler playing baseball.

Brad was also known in Las Vegas for his volunteer work. He spent his free time
working with autistic children and other programs in his area.

We couldn't have asked for a better younger brother, older brother, father, uncle, and
friend.
