Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments:

I'm really looking forward to our 30 year reunion. It'll be the first reunion I've gone to!

In July 1983, I joined the United States Air Force attending boot camp at Lackland AFB, in San Antonio Texas then technical school at Keesler AFB in Mississippi and November, 1983 was stationed at the 64th Mission Support Squadron at Reese AFB, Texas where I received three Outstanding Unit Award ribbons, attended NCO Preparatory Course, NCO Leadership School, and attended college at South Plains Junior College.

In September 1984, I was married to Valerie Boardman whom gave birth to our daughter, Joedi Melissa Riffle in March of 1987. In December 1989, I got orders to the 1st Mission Support Squadron and my wife to the 1st Field Maintenance Squadron at Langley AFB, Virginia, where I received one Outstanding Unit Award ribbon, and attended Saint Leo College on Langley AFB.

In August, 1990 my wife Valerie deployed to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in support of Desert Storm for seven months. After my wifes return, Valerie and I separated and I became the primary custodial parent for our daughter.

In August 1993, I received orders for a remote one-year assignment to the Greater United States Military Training Mission (USMTM) Transportation Service (GUTS) at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where I was divorced from Valerie in March of 1994. While stationed in Saudi, I received a Southwest Asia Service Medal, and the Joint Service Commendation Medal.

Upon my return in December 1994, I was stationed at the 72nd Communications Squadron at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma where I worked at the Global Weather Flight. I attended Rose State Junior College and received an Air Force Commendation Medal and received a Humanitarian Medal for my clean up efforts for the aftermath of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah bombing. During this time, my daughter attended grade school on Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.

In June of 1996, I requested and was moved to the 38 Engineering and Installation Wing commanders office at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. I met my second wife, Caroline Jones, August 2, 1996 and after being assigned to the Air Force Weather Agency in Norman, Oklahoma on September 29, 1996, Caroline and I eloped to Arkansas on November 29, 1996 to get married. Caroline brought two daughters, Ericka and Tayler Galey into the marriage.

On September 29th, 1996, I was assigned to the Air Force Weather Agency, Operating Location K in Norman, Oklahoma what was then called the Operational Support Facility (OSF) where I worked for the Systems Documentation Section with Pete Grant and received one Outstanding Unit Award and a Humanitarian medal for my clean up efforts after the May 3rd tornado in 1999. Caroline and I got divorced after four years on February 18, 2001.

I received an Associate Degree in Information Management through the Community College of the Air Force and attended the Business College at the University of Oklahoma from September 1997 through June of 2004 where I received a Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems.

On January 11, 2005, I was hired on with SI International, Inc. as a contractor for the Fiber Optics Project at NEXRAD Radar Operations Center with the National Weather Service. On November 2, 2005, upon the end of the Fiber Optics Project, began working for the Open Radar Data Acquisition (ORDA) Project which ended in 2006.

In 2007, I went to work for the Chickasaw Nation Commerce Division at Riverwind Casino, in Norman, Oklahoma. I audit four casinos, Goldsby, Riverwind, Newcastle, and Chisholm Trails in Marlow for Compliance.

On July 8th 2007, I met the most beautiful and wonderful person at a weekly outdoor concert series called Summer Breeze at Andrews Park in Norman. Her name is Darleen Bailey Beard. Every moment with her is exciting and fun. She is a bit of a celebrity being a childbook author.

On Christmas Eve 2008 I proposed to Darleen so we are now engaged.

School Story:

Funny memory: My brother and I often laughed innocently about Mrs Reynolds (the teacher) and that a song from the Dark Side of the Moon should be playing while she walks.

Randy and I got paddled for throwing paper airplanes in the ceiling in biology in 10th grade, but we only started it. The whole class did it also. Some of us lit incense and cigarettes in the back of class too. Don't tell.

Once Randy and I pulled a prank and put a drop of crazy glue under someone's shoe in PE, on the bleachers. When the bell rang their shoe ripped apart and they nearly tripped.
