Jason was one of my best friends in high school. He moved from Belton, MO to Olathe at the start of our senior year and graduated but was later diagnosed with a large tumor in his chest that was about the size of a volleyball at the age of 19. It was crushing his lungs and other organs. He lived for about 9 months after being diagnosed but died at his home when I was in the Army at the age of 20. I admired his upbeat attitude despite knowing he was going to die soon. We had some great memories together and even though we only knew each other for about 3 years, I still think about him to this day. He was a great friend. Peace!

BTW-That's me on the left, Jason in the middle, and John Sosko on the right.
