I have, from time to time, wondered how you have been, what you are up to. Thinking back to that very smart guy who played it cool and had a way making friends instantly, I wondered what great things you had your hands into, where you had gone and what you had influenced. Had you lived up to all that potential I saw in you. Not knowing that you had passed was easier. Imagining you were doing great, was easier. Thinking you were raising your own kids, using the lessons you learned, was easier than to now know your not. I only found out now, through this page. I will tell you this, you will be remembered.
From the first time I met you, I knew you were a good guy. I remember all the jokes and smiles we all had back then.
Losing people hurts. I have already lost close military friends, their loss brings me great pain. Just now, learning you were no longer around, brings me no less pain. I am very very sorry to learn of your passing.
