Obituary [Appeal Democrat, 7 July 2011]:

Harold Stanley Childers, 69, of Live Oak died June 30, 2011, in a car accident in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. Born in Marysville, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 69 years. He retired from the Carpenters Union in 2005 as a Journeyman Carpenter for Boyd Roofing. Survivors include his wife, Vina Childers of Live Oak; a daughter, Deborah Ortmayer of Rainier, Washington; a son Leonard Childers of Aurora, Colrado; two grandsons and two granddaughters; and two great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Myrna D. Childers and his parents, Henry and Dorothy Childers. Visitation will be from 1pm-4pm Thursday at Sierra View Mortuary.
