Since high school, I worked as a zookeeper for the Henry Doorly Zoo for 15 years; worked for Caterpillar Claas America and the Girl Scouts, as well, before starting at Omaha Performing Arts in November 2006.
I also represent District 4 (South Omaha) on the Metropolitan Community College Board of Governors. My term is up on December 31, 2008.
My husband, Bob, is a supervisor at Phillips Manufacturing in South Omaha.
Life is busy, but very fun.
UPDATE: This June, Bob and I took a walking/hiking trip with a company called Countrywalkers. We spent 6 days hiking in Yellowstone and stayed at the Lake Yellowstone Hotel and the Bar N Ranch (which is in West Yellowstone, Montana). We saw grizzlies, moose, elk, bison, pronghorn, coyote, marmots, black-tipped weasels, sandhills cranes and more. Yellowstone is a great place and CountryWalkers was a great way to travel. They have trips all over the world, women's only adventures and family trips. Our next stop: Grand Canyon and maybe Macchu Piccu, Peru! |

This is me now!
