Dan and I have the perfect marriage -- he never leaves socks on the floor or the toilet seat up. Our son, Tony, is a straight A student, keeps his room clean, and is the perfect 14-year old, exercising perfect manners at all times, and never talking back to his parents. We enjoy our 6 figure salaries and the quarterly bonuses! SERIOUSLY.....Since 1983, I joined IBM in Omaha, where I met my husband, Dan. We moved to Chicago, had a son, Tony, and then moved to Raleigh, North Carolina. We love it here - friendly, rolling hills, always green, and only a few hours from the beach! We frequent Emerald Isle in NC and sometimes enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains in the heat of the summer. Our son, Tony, is in 8th grade; he enjoys ice hockey and golf. He'll be a freshman next year at one of the very few Catholic High Schools in the area - Cardinal Gibbons. The fourth in our family is Buddy, a Sheltie and she is my "Brown Eyed Girl". Those of you with pets know they are one of the kids!
Strangely enough, our closest friends are from Nebraska! Who would have thought a family from Elgin, NE, who know my grandmother and her family live within a mile from us! We enjoyed seeing fellow Nebraskan's at the NE vs Wake Forest game in 2007.
Boating, golfing, and Bloody Mary's on the beach are a few of our favorite past times. |

Listen closely...I'll only tell this story once...and it will only make sense to those who were there! Buttshot! Grease. Long walks from Nina's house to the football games and hardly making the end of the 4th quarter! Making sure we got home before the lawn sprinklers went on, and making sure someone was at the basement window to let us in! "Someone" peeing their pants! "Don't tell my Mom!" The missing bottle of Cherry Gin and making sure it got back before the end of the night! "What was THAT look for?" The guys from Burke High. Zit cream! The dents in the trunk of the Thunderbird! Someone's Aunt busting our party! Remember French Class? Remember interviewing ACDC for French Class? I wonder if anyone realized that the three of us had matching French Class test grades? The guys from PVI. Lonnie's car! Zsa Zsa! Chicago Festival! Creating fake bodies in our beds and using Teddy Bears for hair so we could sneak out! Laughing until we cried, crying until we fell asleep, missing those we lost along the way and picking up where we left off! You're all the best! Love, T |
