Sheryl died on May 27, 2021. Here is her obituary:
"Sheryl passed of natural causes on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Sheryl is survived by her four children, Lucinda, Patrick, Kathy "Kat", and Joel; her seven grandchildren, Kirstyn, Michael, James, Mackenzie, Skyler, Dominic, and Jameson; and her great-granddaughter, Eleanor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Claussen and Doris Dahlquist; and her brother, Harvey "Jack" Claussen, Jr."
I have many memories of fun times I had with Sheryl. In elementary school I used to go to her house to play. She had a wooden hut she and her brother built in the backyard and they made a trap door in the floor leading to a dirt basement. We would go down there and light matches which we thought was very exciting! Sheryl was in my Girl Scout troop and one time we pitched tents in her backyard and camped out. Unfortunately it rained and our cotton sleeping bags got soaked before morning came. We also dug a latrine in her backyard and used it so we would not have to go in the house! So sorry Sheryl is gone.
