Patricia Zich died of a heart attack at her home on September 10th, '08. She lived and worked in Aberfeldy, England from 1975-1983, teaching art and drama. She founded an organization to produce childrens' theatre, and ran that for 20 years. There is a Zich Trust set up for donations "for the education of young people throught experiences in the performing arts".

She also taught in the American School in Iran after leaving Oneida, and moved to England when the Shah was overthrown. She is pre-deceased by her son Rick.
