Maureen Malone Malone

I recently retired from New York State with 36.5 years of service in the retirement system. For the past 13 years I was the elected Statewide Treasurer of CSEA, the public employee union representing state/local government employees and have been a Medical Lab Tech for those 36.5 years. My career path has drastically changed and I am now a licensed insurance agent and work for a company out of Latham, New York. I still live in Oneida as I can go any direction from here and still see many classmates around the state. Many have been active in CSEA.

After leaving St. Patrick's School I decided there were 175 classmates I had never met and it was my duty to do that. I did, my grades didn't like it. Serving as the Head Cheerleader for the faculty/student basketball game, the closest I would ever come to cheerleader, my stirring rendition of "I'm a Little Teapot" has stuck with me these 40 years.
