Deborah Ann Clinch, 61, of Lock Haven, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2011 at SusqueView Home, Lock Haven.  She was born April 12, 1950 in Syracuse, N.Y., a daughter of Warren L. and Joyce Knapp Clinch who survive in Ocala, Fla. 

Deborah was a 1968 graduate of Oneida High School in New York. She obtained her bachelor's degree from SUNY at Oswego in 1972 and furthered her education by obtaining her master's degree at Penn State Universityin 1974.

She was employed by Mirion County, Fla. as a drug and alcohol counselor where she took pride in the loving and giving care she provided to her patients. Deborah had a special love for animals - especially cats - and enjoyed horseback riding.  She was a member of the Lock Haven Covenant United Methodist Church. She was very proud of her participation as a missionary at the United Methodist Red Bird Mission in Kentucky.

It was important for her to leave a legacy of always being loving, giving and caring for others – which she did.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Jon H. Clinch (Wendy) of Vermont; a sister, Lynne C. Hopkins (Marshall) of Lock Haven; a nephew, Mark Hopkins (Lisa) of Beaver Falls; three nieces, Dr. Sarah Hopkins (David Gosse) of Ohio, Amy Bolt (Jason) of Williamsport and Emily Bryk (John) of New York; a great niece and eight great nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Lock Haven Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa. 17745. Online condolences may be sent by visiting:
