Pamela A. Loosman Obituary

Pamela A. Loosman, 66, Chappell Street, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017 in University Hospital, Syracuse, where she had been a medical patient for the past week.

Born in Oneida, on April 22, 1951, she was a daughter of Eugene A. and Marion Patsy Niles Sr. A lifelong resident of Oneida, Pam was a graduate of Oneida High School. She married Charles L. Loosman III, in Oneida, on Oct. 30, 1971. 

Pam was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and was a member of the Oneida Elks Auxiliary No. 767, the Oneida Post No. 169 American Legion Auxiliary and the Durhamville Veterans Club Auxiliary.

Surviving besides her husband, Charles III, are her son and daughter-in-law, Charles L. and Michelle Loosman IV of Oneida; her granddaughter, Hannah Loosman; her sisters and their husbands, Bonnie and Leonard Ressegger and Nancy and John Lawless, all of Oneida; her brothers, James Niles of Nashua, N.H. and Joseph and Sandra Niles of Oneida; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Eugene A. Niles Jr. and Leslie Niles.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida, with the Rev. Richard Kapral, officiating. Interment will be made in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 3-7 p.m., Monday.
