Obit:

Kevin James Patricia, a dedicated and compassionate individual who spent 35 years of his career with the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, has passed away on August 4, 2023 in The Woodlands, TX. He was born on July 20, 1950, in Englewood, NJ.

Throughout his life, Kevin was deeply committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others. His tireless dedication and passion for helping individuals with developmental disabilities will be remembered by those who had the pleasure of working with him.

Kevin's illustrious educational journey began when he graduated from Oneida High School in 1969. Determined to expand his knowledge and skills further, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Albany in 1973. His pursuit of excellence continued as he obtained an MBA from RPI in 1981. Kevin's commitment to lifelong learning exemplified his drive for success and personal growth.

Aside from his professional achievements, Kevin's true joy in life came from spending time with his loved ones. His wife, Joanne Patricia, held a special place in his heart and together they shared countless cherished memories. Kevin took great delight in being a loving husband and father to their three children: Sean Patricia of Chamblee, TX; Karen Patricia Crochet along with her husband Brian Crochet and their daughter Adeline of Conroe, TX; and Kelly Patricia of Albany, NY. He was a pillar of support for his family and imparted invaluable wisdom upon them through his unwavering love.

Kevin's devotion extended beyond immediate family, as he maintained a close bond with his parents John Vincent Patricia and Eileen McNichol; his brothers John (accompanied by his caring wife Claudette), Daniel; and sister Mary. Furthermore, he established strong connections with J. Michael Patricia and Susan Patricia of Oneida, NY; Suzanne Salvatore and Tony Roswell of GA. In addition to his family, Kevin also leaves behind a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish the time they spent with him.

Outside of his professional and familial responsibilities, Kevin nurtured his spirit of adventure. He found solace in exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. Traveling became one of his favorite hobbies as he eagerly sought out opportunities to broaden his horizons. However, above all, Kevin treasured the moments shared with his wife, children, and being his granddaughter Adeline's best friend. These cherished times will forever remain etched in their hearts as a testament to the bond they held.

Kevin James Patricia's life was marked by compassion, diligence, and an unwavering dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. His presence will be sorely missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the profound impact he had on society and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.

May he rest in peace and may his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him.

The Craze

Fellow North Broad Street Alumni(Seneca Street sucks).

Fellow Northsider(Anything south of the tracks sucks, except Gussies, Pepi's and the pools at Sly's, Hento's       and the Flash).

Fellow blind, mediocre football player(VVS sucks).

Brother Pitman(Bombers suck).

Extreme intellectual who evolved into a proud, devoted family man.

Bravely lived over 50 years without hair from his navel to his knees due to numerous 'accidents' of a fiery   nature.

Provided more beer to more underage drinkers than any other Oneida alumni in the history of the school     district.

He always was and always will be:

The Craze
