Barbara Smith Switzer

I have been married to my amazing husband for 40 years. We have be so blessed with joy. We moved to New York in 1974. In 1984 we moved to Quebec Canada for about 13years where we started a church. In 1996 we moved back New York.

Besides my great love for my Lord, family and church family, I enjoy painting. I have been painting for over 30 years. I taught this great art for over 20 years. I also have a deep love for music and currently teach High School Choral.... One of the great priviledges I have is speaking at ladies conference throughout the US.

I love the mountains and water, of course my favorite is the beach. So we live in the mountains of NY and spend time at the beach each summer. Michael has always made sure I was surrounded by water. In my front garden I have a small pond with waterfall where I can go to read. Swimming pool in my backyard so I can swim, and a jacuzzi on my deck to relax. My favorite time to go in the jacuzzi is on a cold snowing day. I love to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery as the snow fall around me.

I have no complaints..... well actually one.... I wish all my grand babies lived next door!

I loved bring part of the concert choir. I also was President of DECA my senior year.
