Rosemarie was stabbed to death in her apartment (Golf Lake Apartments), 27th ave across from Miami-Dade on October 15, 1973. She was an assistant manager at Burger King and attended Miami Dade at the time. It remains unsolved. There were no real suspects at the time. It was not a break in and nothing was stolen. The police thought it was someone she new.
She was Survived by her daughter, Angel Bentley Stokes, her husband, William (Bill) Bentley, her parents, Gloria & Frank Welker & 6 siblings.
