Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments:

I only had two classes my senior year and then it was off to Claflin College (yes, college back then) for a few prep courses in math and english. Then, I transferred to Armstrong Atlantic State University and moved to Savannah, GA where I finished my Bachelor of Science in Health Administration in three years. I moved to Alaska to actually use my degree then I worked at Memorial Health University Medical Center, which I enjoyed. I learned to write grants and design research projects while completing my Master of Public Health degree. Now, I enjoy health education and public health research. I have moved wherever the job has taken me and enjoyed a plethora of learning experiences along the way. It's nice keeping in touch with my friends from highschool and reconnecting with everyone at the reunion. I'm looking forward to possibly starting my doctoral studies or furthering my skills as a researcher. Staying busy is all I know.

School Story:

The reunion was so much fun! It was great to see everyone who attended. What ever happened to having a "something" between reunions?? Is anyone willing to plan something so we can get together more often?

My favorite times in highschool would have to be the "commons area" gatherings and going to COVEC. We didn't have cell phones or laptops and barely had internet. We used the card catalogue in the library to write papers for crying out loud. Papers were written on word processors in those few "choice" fonts and dot matrix printers or desk jets were what was hot on the streets. There was no such thing as ipods because we had a walkman/cd thingie. Man, it looked so bad with that chord coming from your tape deck and the AC adapter...and don't let you hit a speed bump and get your cd to start skippin' LOL If you did have a cell phone it was a size huge LOL.

We had the best athletic teams hands down! I enjoyed going to the games and track meets and we always won the trophies.

**I'll have to stop here with my little trip down memory lane and pick up at another time...
