Kurt always had an active imagination and loved to draw and paint. After High school he graduated with a degree in computer science from UVCC (what the university was then called). He loved working with computers and managed the computer accounting for B & C Collectables.
He loved going to movies and hanging out with his friends. He and his friends, Larry and Damon, could recite word for word the entire script of Monty Python's Holy Grail.
Kurt loved to dress up for Halloween, but traditional costumes were difficult for him. He had a great imagination and would work around his difficulties.
He passed away on April 15, 1993, two weeks after his 26th birthday, from a long battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
I am honored he asked me to Homecoming our Senior year. I had some insight into what he faced every day in regards to comments, looks from others, etc after that night. He was full of life and didn't let it get him down.
