Read profiles and send messages to your friends and to others with whom  you find you have something in common.  You can send messages to your classmates six ways.

  • Look at the Message Forum page at least ONCE a day (others are on multiple times) - read it, add your two cents and enjoy the ongoing group conversations.
  • The T-Bird Forums page also has several forums on specific topics, so get in there and talk about your passion.
  • Make a date with your friends to use our T-bird Live Chat Room so you can send each other instant messsages.
  • Send personal messages directly from a classmate's profile page.
  • Leave a public comment below a person's profile.
  •  Post an announcement to the entire class by clicking on Post Announcement under Member Functions on the left menu. Once your message is approved, it will show up on our Thunderation News page, which you should also check frequently for new postings by your friends.

Check the LP Class Updates page every time you sign in for updates, announcements and important information.

See our 1969 award-winning yearbook on the 1969 LPHS Legend Page. And check out the slide shows of our recent 40th reunion activities on the Reunion Memories page.

Keep track of Oroville daily weather on the widget below.  Use the boxes on the right side of the page to be reminded of your classmates' birthdays and to see which classmates have updated their profiles. Also check out "this day in history" on the lower right, to remind you of what you've forgotten and see an historical video.

Listen to 60's and 70's music (see instructions on the "70's Juke Box" page).

(LP '69ers on their way to our recent 40th Reunion!)

But most of all, read your classmates' profiles and enjoy this on-line reunion! You can send private messages from their profile pages but again, be sure to chime in on the Message Forum. Read it often to see what people are saying and to add your own message. You can even go back and read all the messages ever posted (if you've unlimited patience and nothing better to do).

Welcome and Enjoy!

(LPHS members celebrating their extreme joy at reuniting. It's just so rad...)

We're all so happy to have you on our website, dude!

This photo was taken at our five-year reunion. Do you recognize everyone?

Four of them started a band and became somewhat famous. See photo below.

To enjoy the 70's music on this page, while surfing through this website and others, see  instructions on the "Enjoy 60's Music" page .

From left to right, Joe Johannsen - stage name "John" something; The pretty one is Carol Blankenship, or wait, is it Laurie Braaten? Vern Jones? Can't recall which - but the stage name was "Paul"; Lane Oldham, who for some reason wanted to be called "Ringo"(?! ),and John Wagener, who decided to go by "George."  Their manager was a guy named Rob Jones and sometimes Cliff Mickelson warmed up with them before they went on stage. He was even known to don a dark wig and impersonate whoever was too tired to play on any particular night.
