I went to Oakland University right after High School. I lived at home for the first year, but decided I wasn't getting the "full college experience," so the next year I moved to the dorms. I got involved with student housing as a Resident Assistant and for new student programs as an Orientation Group Leader and then Orientation Assistant. I changed my major several times, and after six years, I graduated in 2005 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
After graduation, I spent two and a half years at St. Jospeh Mercy Oakland working with Oncology patients. Then I bought a condo in Grand Blanc in 2007, and started at Genesys working in the Emergency Department. I absolutely love my job now!
While working at St. Joes I met my fiance, Jerry. We are planning a small wedding on 09.09.09. He has two daughters that are 7 and 9, and he and I can't wait to start adding to the family!
