 Frederick L. Buck

Funeral services were held at United Methodist Church in Pengilly, MN for Frederick L. Buck, age 48, who died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998 at his home in Buck Lake, MN.

He was born May 26, 1950 in Windom to Virgie F. and Joyce (Kramer) Buck.  He attended schools in Osage and vocational school at Calmer, IA.  He had been a resident of Buck Lake since 1976 and was a welder at Hibbing Taconite.  He married Cindy Heller on Dec. 18, 1971 in Osage.

He was a member of the United Steelworkers of America 2705 and was a founding member of the Association of Harley Davidson Riders.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents.

Those that survive him include two daughters, Trinity (Todd) Dickson of St. Louis Park, MN and Opal Buck and her friend, Jim Shuper of Hibbing, MN; his parents, Virgie and Joyce Buck of Worthington, MN; a brother, Randall and wife, Mindy Buck of Nora Springs; a sister, Patrice and husband, Richard Folkerf of St. Paul Park, MN; his former wife, Cindy Caroon of Hibbing; and nieces and nephews.

Bonnie Snyder (Becker)

Fred was a neighbor kid of mine and I still keep in touch with his parents. He died very suddenly of a heart attack just before our 30th reunion. He has a great daughter and grandkids that miss him. Bonnie Snyder Becker
