Liz deserves remembering. She was a good friend to me in school. I ran into her about 2 years before she died, at Walmart, in Mason City. She was so thin. That is when I learned of her breast cancer and bilateral mastectomy. I realized I envied all the wrong things about her but can now admire all the right things. She was a very talented woman, that few got to know. So here is a salute to an old friend, bless you!

Sad to hear of her death, that damn breast cancer. I still have fond memories of dating Liz for a few weeks, I hope she had a good life.

Reflecting back, if there was one thing you could count on for sure, it was that if you asked Liz a question she would give it to you straight. I admired that in her.
Liz was a multi-talented person, and she will be missed.
