You can get a pretty good idea of my last 40 years by reading Jane's profile. I'll just fine tune mine a bit. After graduation, I went to Iowa State for three years. Jane graduated from nurses training and we married in 1972. We moved to Kansas City where I worked for 2 yrs with General Motors. When Adrian was born in late 1973 we decided the big city was no place to raise a child (more people should think that way), and we moved back to Iowa where I got a job with Winnebago. Two yrs later, in 1975, a chance to work at Wallace Computer presented itself and I took it. After 7 yrs at the Osage plant, I transfered to the Metter, GA plant. I left Wallace after 20 yrs to start our wholesale tree nursery. We enjoyed being entrepreneurs for about 10 yrs before selling it to our partners in 2004. I built a workshop in my back yard and enjoy building custom furniture (or anything else Jane asks for). If you read Jane's profile you'll notice that our priorities now center around our granddaughter, Polly Jane, and grand she is! What little spare time I have is spent on several volunteer boards here in Metter.
Oh, my gosh. We just thought Polly Jane was the center of our priorities. She got a little brother, Matthew, in 2010. Two years later, in 2012, we were blessed with identical twin boys, Harrison and Patrick, by Kevin and Callie. Jane is still working because she wants to,(how many can say that?),but I can assure you that more of our budget goes to gas, traveling to those grandbabies!
