Comments:

After college graduation, lived/worked in San Antonio. Married husband in July, 1975. Later moved to his hometown--Little Rock, AR, where we lived and I taught special education at his high school alma mater. Son, Tim, born there. Returned to live in San Antonio in 1986 and remained there until 1991 when husband accepted position as psychiatric social worker at North Iowa Mercy Hospital in Mason City. After teaching 5 yrs. at Clear Lake H.S. and earning a master's degree, I took a position with the Area Education Agency serving as work experience coordinator/transition specialist to several high schools in North Iowa. Later changed position to that of a Special Ed Consultant with the AEA serving high schools in North Iowa. Retired in 2016.
My siblings Cheryl, Deb, Susan, Bruce, and Mark, and their families all live in or near Osage. I lost my dad in January, 2007; Mom lived in their home in Osage until entering the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in St. Ansgar in January, 2018, and passed away this past February.
I surprised my family (and myself) by deciding to buy Mom's house here in Osage and hope to move in by the end of the summer. (909 Chase--stop by when you're in town.)
Tim is a systems analyst for the U. of Wisconsin Hospitals in Madison and still single.
My husband, David, passed away in July, 2005, from a heart attack.
My hobbies include walking, hiking, enjoying nature, reading, working in my yard, traveling, and feeding/watching the birds.

School Memory:

Talking to friends in the commons before school, teachers (Frau Payne, Mr. Neuwohner, Mr. Huegli, Mrs. Haakenson, Mrs. Zylstra, Uncle Sid), the band trip to Winnipeg, the sit-down strike in the gym, working on Homecoming floats, staying after school to work on Hi-Times.
