Kendra Whitney (Reichert)

Kendra Whitney (Reichert)

Kendra Sue Reichert, age 58 of Rogers, Minnesota, went peacefully to meet her heavenly family on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, much sooner than we all expected while fighting a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.  To know Kendra was to love her. She was a devoted wife, daughter, loving sister, exceptional mother, a fiercely loved Mimi to her 4 grandchildren, a wonderful mother-in-law, a friend, a sister-in-law, a confidant, and a caring nurse of 37 years that touched so many lives. Her smile and laughter would light up any room she walked into.

Her family was her entire world.  Married to her loving husband Brad for 37 years and raising 3 amazing children, Amanda, Rachel, and Adam, was her biggest and greatest accomplishment.  Seeing her children get married and start families of their own was a dream come true.  Becoming Mimi and Papa was one of Brad and Kendra’s favorite things.  Mimi was a title that fit Kendra the best. Her littlest loves, Harper, Sophia, Greyson & Brooks (on the way) made her fight harder with each passing day. They simply adored their Mimi and she adored them. She will be sorely missed by her grandkids but will be remembered and celebrated forever.

Kendra is survived by loving husband Brad, daughter Amanda Bochet (Nathan), daughter Rachel Stremel (Christopher), and son Adam Reichert (Brianna); parents, Thomas and Judy Whitney; sister, Lisa Nelson (Montgomery); sister-in-law Brenda Anderson (Richard); nieces and nephews, Alicia (Travis), Logan (Storm), Zachary (Tara) and Shane and her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Leo and Eileen Cramer; Marie Whitney; father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald and Louise Reichert and her fur babies Abby, Ozzy, Kuba and Lilly.

Kendra inspired those around her to be the best version of themselves, and to live by faith, family, and fun. She gave the best of herself to everyone, every single day. We are all truly blessed to have known her in this life on earth. Kendra had a profound impact on us all. She will be dearly missed.  We would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, prayers and support provided now and over the years.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 4 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Road 101, Maple Grove.  Visitation at 10 AM, service at 11 AM with luncheon to follow at the church. Please wear bright colors as that is what Kendra loved!
