Upon graduation, I attended North Hennepin Community College for one year. I continued my studies and volleyball career in Colorado at the United States Air Force Academy. I graduated in 1995 with a BS and started my Air Force career in NM as a HR officer. Other assignments have included Montgomery AL; Las Vegas NV; San Antonio TX, St Louis MS, and Washington DC. I received my Masters Degree in June 08. I deployed to Saudi Arabia for 7 months in '03, Afghanistan for 7 months in '09 and Iraq for 5 months in '11. I have 2 Cocker Spaniels that are 9 and 11. Hobbies include traveling and sports. I've run 15+ marathons, to include Boaton, with a personal best of 3:36. My travels have taken me to 35+ countries includinfnChina, S. Africa, Italy, Mediterranean/Carribean/Alaskan and Baltic Cruises; Croatia, Romania, Germany, Japan, and Russia. Going in a shark cage and swimming with the Great Whites in S. Africa was definitely one of the highlights. I retired from the Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel with 22 years in 3016 and moved back home to Mn, specifically on Eagle Lake in Big Lake. I now coach volleyball and track for Elk River part time.
