Steve would crack me up! I'm sorry to hear he has passed away. He would give this flabbergasted look, man he was funny. God bless you Steve

Steve was a young man who had a vision to be successful in life at an early age.  I remember sitting at his house and putting plans together to make decorative lettering in our wood class with Mr. Zink.  We were going to be millionaires by our Senior year.  :-)  I also remember some really tough games of basketball at Jim Capper's house.  We miss you Steve....

Steve was my best friend since the sixth grade. He passed away from a heart attack/ stroke on 9-9-99. Steve got married and moved away to Houston in '86. We kept in touch but as life takes you down different roads we didn't see much of each other till he moved back in '98. As fate has it, he moved next door to me and soon after that we went into business together. On Sept. 8th he flew back to Houston to sell his home, the next day we lost him. Steve left us two wonderful gifts, his son Max and daughter Sarah. Then one year after he passed away his widow( Katrina) died of cervical cancer at the age of 35.

A nice end to the story is that his children will have their college paid for with a grant started in 2000. Max is an honor student at SMS and will be a junior next year, Sarah will be a freshman. Steve was full of life and had a great future ahead of him but God had other plans. I miss and think of him everyday!  I'm honored to have called him my friend!
