Adam Miller

Car accident

Our precious son, Adam Larkins Miller, 30, of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Paducah, was called Home on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 12:22 a.m. in McCracken County. He was a devoted son, caring brother, affectionate grandson, doting uncle, and tenderhearted soul.

 

Adam was born on May 14, 1982 in Paducah to Belinda Rue (Franklin) Page and Frank Larkins Miller, Jr. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Rudy Franklin; grandmother, Ruby Miller; and stepfather, Sid Thomas. Adam was a 2000 graduate of Lone Oak High School and attended Murray State University and West Kentucky Community and Technical College.

 

Adam is survived by his mother, Belinda, of Paducah; father, Frank, of Nashville; brother and best friend, Nathaniel, of South Chesterfield, Virginia; grandmother; Elverine Stratton Franklin; grandfather, Frank Larkins Miller, Sr.; stepfather, Don Page; stepmother, Amanda Miller; stepbrother, Jeremy Turner; stepbrother, Brent Page; stepsister, Sarah Amos; uncle, Kenneth Franklin and aunt, Darla; aunt, Daralea (Franklin) Harper and uncle, Donnie; aunt, Patricia Wallace, and uncle, Johnny; aunt, Pam Rafferty, and uncle, Jim; and nephew, Caleb Turner. He is also survived by his cousins, Rainey Rafferty-Cortes and husband Carlos; Kevin Wallace and wife Tara; Paige Franklin; Jacob Harper and wife, Lindsay; and Aaron Harper.

 

He was a faithful member of Lovelaceville United Methodist Church for 19 years. He was employed as an electrician apprentice with Amprite Electric Company of Nashville. Adam enjoyed playing baseball, coaching youth-league baseball players, working with classic cars, camping and fishing, rifle marksmanship, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be forever missed by his earthly loved ones, but has been welcomed Home by his Heavenly Father.

 

A celebration of Adam’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Todd Ray officiating. The burial is to follow at Lovelaceville Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
