Service for Barbara A. Polewchak, 51, of Painesville will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.

Mrs. Polewchak died March 16, 2002 at her residence.

Born August 12, 1950 in Painesville she had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Painesville, a member of Ladies of the Elks, Lodge 549 in Painesville and a member of Ziro Chapter of Betta Signa Fi.

Mrs. Polewchak was Deputy Treasurer for the Lake County Treasurer John C. Crocker since 1994.

Survivors are her husband, Anthony C. (Tony) Polewchak whom she married August 9, 1969; son, Brian Polewchak of Perry; parents Charles and Jane (Schaffer) Snider of Newbury; brother, Steve (Theresa) Snider of Perry; sister, Jane (Rick) Button of Newbury.

Her son, John A. Polewchak died in 1986.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
