Cheryl obtained her B.A. degree from Colombia College in Chicago, then moved to San Francisco, California and worked in the film industry as a producer / director. She owned her own company, adopted her son from her long time friend who passed away, moved to New York City and worked there for 8 years until she passed away from Ovarian Cancer that spread. She lived for almost 6 years after the day she was originally diagnosed, which in itself was an accomplishment. Cheryl believed in Buddhism, and treated everyone with respect. She has many friends and family that miss her every day! Her son, Jeremy, had a daughter - Michaela - who Cheryl was able to spend about 2 years with. She was godmother 2 her sister's 2 children also. She was a wonderful person!
