As happens frequently for me with high school classmates, I have no memories of Roger in high school, but lots of memories from Garland Elementary. Roger was an avid baseball player and we would literally play forms of baseball every day during the summer at Garland or at Jordan - what great memories. I remember listening to some of the very early radio broadcasts of Giants games with Roger, and rooting our new favorite team on to victory. Those were the days of Mays and McCovey, when those guys were young and so were we. Rest in peace, Roger.
