Nancy, was the friend that eveeryoNe wanted!! She took me under"her wing" whenI moved to Palo Alto in, 1958!!
She was regarded as a perfect example of a perfect a"student", however, for "Holloween" we were told by, Dr. Mason,do not spray your hair with colors ie red, green, gold etc. Well, Miss Nancy felt differently so we sprayed our hair in her bathroom and off we went, tricker/treating and to Jordan to the "sock/hop, no problem!! But the next morning, several young ladies, led by Nancy left after, home room, we had to, because Dr. Mason threatened " expulsion" and Nancy begged / pleaded to no avail!!I cried , she held my hand all the way home and explained to my Mother!!!
She was so special in every way!! We , unknowing wore the same " formal" to the " prom"! I cried, she took my hand, again and told me some very special things!!!!! I love you and always will!!! Julie.
