Paula was a very kind and gentle person.
I had a great time running cross country with Ron. He also ran some track events, and I pole vaulted. He was the first person I ever met from Israel. His parents moved to Palo Alto so his dad could work at Stanford. Ron has a brother, Gil, who is about 2 years younger than Ron. Ron was very good at math, and probably hung out with folks like Scott Edelstein, Ron Nitz, Mark Wong, and other math wizzes. I remember talking with him about all kinds of life matters. He even wrote in my year book, "I will never be a militant atheist again."
