Vernon Curts attended Cambridge, Idaho schools for eleven years, and then his family relocated to Payette, Idaho in 1961. Vern was a shy and quiet Payette student. He was highly intelligent, joining PHS' National Honor Society soon after his school transfer. Vern was an honor student at the University of Idaho at Moscow, Idaho, and then he taught high school for a few years at the Payette School. Vern won his former classmates' admiration many years later, when he wrote brilliant, entertaining submissions for the '62 PHS Blog. We miss his wry sense of humor immensely.
