MERLIN CLARK FAGAN  April 3, 1943 - April 4, 2002

Merlin Clark Fagan, 59, Tukwila, Wash., passed away Thursday, April 4, 2002, at his home.  Clark was born to Merlin W. and Fern L. Fagan April 3, 1943.
Clark was a kind man with a big heart and an ageless sense of humor.  Clark always had a joke or a story to tell to brighten your day.  Clark loved to travel; Nome, Alaska, being his least favorite and East Germany being the most beautiful.  He loved to talk to people he met along his way, enriching both for having done so.  His spirit of adventure and sense of humor with hard work and determination were incredible gifts and he used them well.

Clark is survived by his three daughters, Debara  Ferleman and Stacey Sanford, both of Bellevue, Wash., and Paquita Fagan, Everett, Wash.; brothers, Robert J. Fagan, Federal Way, Wash., and Gerald L. Fagan, Kent, Wash., sisters, Sheryl A. Johanek, New Plymouth, and Kathleen Iseri, Ontario; six grandchildren: Kyle, Jason, Taylor Ferleman, Meagan, Morgan and Joe Sanford; his father Merlin W. Fagan, Payette; and many nieces and nephews.  His sister, Lorraine Blevins, and his mother Fern L. Fagan, preceded him in death.

I didn't know Clark well during school, but we had a nice visit at our 39th PHS reunion. Steve Spaulding, PHS '65, told me at his mother, Betty Spaulding's funeral, that Clark Fagan was a good friend of his in Washington.
