Kip Moggridge, Tues, Nov 1st:

"Last Friday I went to a Marine funeral service for Keith (Kit) Leedy. Many of us spent time at Leedy's Cafe and Bowling Alley in the 50's and Keith was a good friend of mine and many of us, up thru the 7th Grade when they moved to Caldwell. Keith spent two tours in Viet Nam and was a decorated Veteran who, after returning from service, was never the same and spent years in a kind of personal depression. Keith took his own life when it just wasn't worth the effort to fight the depression. November 11th is Veteran's Day and a time when we all might just pause for a moment and reflect on the service to our country that all of our classmates and, for that fact, all Veterans have given. Semper Fi Keith."
