Roy Dale Corn

November 13, 1931-October 10, 2022

Dale Corn, 91, of Auburn, Washington passed away on October 10, 2022.  Born on November 13, 1931, in Caldwell, Idaho to Doran and Luella Corn, Dale graduated from Middleton High School in 1949 and attended Northern Idaho College, where he met his beautiful wife of 64 years, Jean, and earned a degree in Education.   He worked as a teacher and school principal.  His first job was with Jean in a one room schoolhouse where he taught the big kids, and she taught the little ones!  He ended his long working career with Houghton Mifflin Publishing.  After retirement Dale worked for the Seattle Mariners as an usher and seating host.

Dale was an avid golfer.  You could find him on the course as often as he could be there, one time hitting a hole in one!  Dale and Jean also loved to travel.  Whether it be with friends, family, or just the two of them, they were always up for an adventure anywhere around the world.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Juanita and Sandra; brothers Dean and Robert; his loving wife Jean; son Ronald Corn; and son-in-law Jace Godfrey.  He is survived by his brothers Roger and Jerry Corn; daughter Sue Godfrey, grandchildren Meghann (Brian) Lawrence, Nick Godfrey, Justin (Robin) Corn and Darcie (Kyle) Meuli; three great-grandchildren Henry, Mia, Sutton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

His service will be at Auburn First United Methodist Church, 100 N Street SE Auburn, WA on November 15, 2022, at 2:00pm.  There will be a reception immediately following his service at the same location.
