The weekend of October 2, 2010 is Parents' Weekend for both Marist and Vassar Colleges. If you are interested in staying in Fishkill for the reunion, you should probably make your reservations early. I have only been able to block rooms at 2 hotels and I am waiting for information regarding the Sierra which I will post once they contact me. However, I have full names, addresses, phone numbers and websites for you to look and make your decisions.

Because it is parents weekend at Marist and Vassar Colleges, no block can be made for this weekend. Their normal rates are around $119.00 per night plus taxes, but for this weekend, they have jacked their rates up to $189.99 per night plus tax for both Friday and Saturday nights. The other nights either before or after the 1st and 2nd are at the rate of $129.99 per night plus taxes.
As of 10/20/2009, they have only 14% of their rooms available so if this hotel interests you, you will need to act quickly.
There is no restaurant at the Holiday Inn Express; however, they have a free continental breakfast.

I have not called the Hilton, but I checked online and their rates seem reasonable as of this time (from $103.00 Advanced Payment in Full to $145.00 including breakfast). I would suggest you look online to find the particulars out, look at the hotel amenities and decide for yourself if this is a hotel you would like to stay at. Again, because of parents’ weekend, I would act quickly.
